Buyer / Quality Expert ‘Sawn Timber’ (m/f/d)
The billion-dollar timber industry is facing the great challenge of digitization. We will actively promote this upheaval and are looking for two experienced buyers / quality representatives ‘Schnittholz’ (field service) at the earliest opportunity.
Your Responsibilities
- Independent purchase of sawn timber products
- Negotiating prices and qualities
- Control of order preparation and quality of sawn timber products at the partner sawmills on site
- Continuous maintenance and further development of our network of sawmills
Your Profile
- At least 5 years experience and direct handling of sawn timber (e.g. sawmill or timber trade)
- Fluent in German / advance English
- Experienced with Wood or sawn timber
- Quality evaluation of sawn timber
- Finishing of sawn timber
- Price negotiations
